This outdoor event offers a special evening under the stars, surrounded by majestic live oaks and the winter blooms of Honey Horn’s renowned Camellia Garden that features 135 varieties. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, unique hors d’oeuvres and live music, while supporting the museum’s mission to inspire people to care for the Lowcountry.

Event Highlights:
“Cocktails & Camellias brings people together to celebrate the Lowcountry’s natural beauty and support the vital work of preserving our history, nature, art and culture,” said Rex Garniewicz, President and CEO of the Coastal Discovery Museum. “We can’t wait to welcome everyone to this new tradition at Honey Horn.”
In 2024, the museum welcomed over 129,000 visitors, engaged nearly 5,000 local students, offered more than 400 programs for adults, presented world-class exhibitions, as well as the annual Art Market at Honey Horn and spring and fall native plant sales.
The Pavilion and surrounding grounds have recently undergone upgrades to enhance the event space as part of the Town of Hilton Head’s Capital Improvements Program.
